Count the doors

The system finds them. You approve them faster than you could click them.

STEP 02 / 07

01 · AI COUNTS FIRST

The doors find themselves

Open a floor plan and detection starts on its own — no button to press. The purple sweep is the system reading the sheet. Doors appear as colored dots, grouped by code.

No AI on your account? Skip to counting by hand below — it's just as fast.

02 · YOU APPROVE

Approve the finds, one by one

  1. Click the purple Review pill in the bottom toolbar.
  2. Each find jumps under your eyes, its code pre-filled.
  3. Enter approves. Type to correct. Backspace deletes.
Shortcut: R starts the same walk.

Same-size windows come as one bucket — one tap codes the lot.

03 · BY HAND

Click the doors yourself

  1. Click the Tag tool in the bottom toolbar.
  2. Click a door on the plan. Type its code — D1 — press Enter.
  3. Keep clicking doors. Every click stamps another D1 — no retyping.
  4. Different door? Double-click it and pick the code.
Shortcut: T turns on the Tag tool.

The first tag on a sheet asks its floor, once. Wrong tag? Click it and fix it — or ⌘Z.

Tag mode: click a door, set the floor once, type D1 — then each click stamps another D1 and the takeoff counts along

Good to know

D1 ✕→no trace
Deleted means gone

A removed tag leaves nothing on the plan, the takeoff, or a shared link.

Far out: dots with counts. Up close: full labels with IDs.

Second pass

The sparkle on a sheet's page strip re-runs that page; Settings → Re-run detection does the whole set.

Re-running won't wipe your work

New AI results land as their own run — your tags stay put, and a small chip by the zoom pill compares the two.

Right-click the floor in the strip to edit it. Ranges work too: 2–7 covers six floors at once. Sheets & floors ↳

Two queues, one walk

Doors and windows are reviewed separately — switch queues from the Review pill when the first one runs dry.
